 Following on from their performance at Oysterband’s fantastic Big Session festival this weekend, Show Of Hands return to the biomes to kick off the biggest ever Eden Sessions. Opening for Peter Gabriel this Wednesday they continue with their long summer of festivals and gigs, bringing with them their current touring partner Miranda Sykes.
After a triumphant slot closing the first Eden Sessions festival in 2003, Show Of Hands are back to open this years proceedings at one of the most unique music venues in the world. This starts a busy summer playing more or less every festival of note or distinction this country has to offer. Highlights include Glastonbury, Cambridge folk festival, Sidmouth, and Fairports Cropredy Convention, before undertaking a tour of Germany in September!
They will be playing an assortment of favourites and new cuts from their most successful album to date, 2006’s Witness and Steve Knightley’s recent solo album Cruel River.
