Jazz FM Awards 2017 – The Winners

Congratulations to all of the winners at this years Jazz FM Awards which took place earlier this week in London.

We were delighted to see 5 Proper distributed artists amongst the winners, these included Donny McCaslin who won the International Jazz Artist of the Year, Vocalist of the Year went to Norma Winstone, Nikki Yeoh won Instrumentalist of the Year, Jaimeo Brown took home the Jazz Innovation of the Year award and Georgie Fame was honoured with the PPL Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jazz FM launched the Jazz FM Awards in 2013 with the aim of celebrating the work of jazz, blues and soul musicians. The Awards are a partnership between Jazz FM and Serious. They promote excellence, recognise distinction and commend those that have made an exceptional contribution to genres from rising stars to established British artists and international musicians.
