Jazz FM Awards 2017 Nominees Announced

The nominations for the 2017 Jazz FM Awards were announced last night at the Piano Bar in Soho, London. The ceremony will take place on 25th April at Under The Bridge in West London and will coincide with the 100th anniversary of Ella Fitzgerald’s birth – a celebration of her music will be included on the night.

Congratulations to all of the artists nominated this year. Nominated artists distributed by Proper include Norma Winstone and Polly Gibbons who are both nominated in the Vocalist of the Year category, Gwilym Simcock and Nikki Yeoh both nominated for Instrumentalist of the Year, Anderson .Paak and Donny McCaslin both nominated for Album of the Year, Jaimeo Brown whose nominated in two category’s, Jazz Innovation of the Year and Digital Initiative of the Year and finally Julian Arguelles whose nominated for Live Experience of the Year.

This prestigious event receives considerable build up on-air on Jazz FM before the red-carpet evening of stunning performances and a celebrity-hosted Awards ceremony.
