Featured Label: Naim
Naim Label is a record company devoted to the best musical talent and superb sound quality. Naim Audio, the Salisbury-based creators of some of the worlds greatest sounding home entertainment systems, have channelled their uncompromising obsession for outstanding music through their record company for over fifteen years. This desire to champion the artistic and not just the technical is what makes Naim Label, now one of the biggest audiophile labels in the world, so special.
Comprising of Naim Edge, Naim Jazz and Naim Classical, the label aims to introduce a sense of humanity that was long-since lost in the global music industry. Belonging to such a prestigious British company means that Naim’s inherent philosophy is shared with the label, one of achieving absolute sound quality and preserving the musicians’ art. Our lasting desire to share music compliments the artist friendly approach Naim Label has come to be respected for.
Their latest release come from Pylo who release their debut EP ‘Bellavue’ on the 4th August. Pylo are the British guitar band set to bring balance to the airwaves with their brave, bright and beautiful amalgamation of everything that is great about real contemporary music.
In 1991, Naim Audio launched the CDS, Naim’s first ever-compact disc player. Having bravely ventured into the realm of digital music playback, Naim was struck with the stark reality that the sound of commercially available compact discs was sub-standard. Naim Audio were hungry for some material that could provide a superior listening experience, but also help demonstrate just how ground-breaking the Naim CDS was, and so Naim Label was born.
Almost two decades later, Naim Label and its various label imprints has a catalogue of over one hundred releases, championing everything from gripping alternative rock to Beethoven symphonies, that is sold in 38 countries worldwide.
