Coda Music Celebrates 25 Year Anniversary

This month Coda Music in Edinburgh celebrates their 25th anniversary. Coda first opened in 1990 at Waverley Market shopping centre (now Princes Mall) on Princes St, followed by Glenrothes, Livingston and The Mound. The specialist Folk & Vinyl shop On The Mound is now the only Coda remaining but going strong with local loyal customers and foreign visitors. Behind the scenes Coda helps local musicians with distribution and sales. The shop is well known for stocking a huge range of Folk music and has expanded in the past 3 years to include The Vinyl Room where you can find an eclectic mix of all genres.

Coda has become a destination for foreign visitors looking for the best in Scottish music. We like to think that we send visitors back from holiday with music they will still be playing a year later!

To celebrate the anniversary, special instore gigs will be held at the shop over 3 days, August 9th, 15th & 16th with Julie Fowlis, Emily Smith, Chris Stout, Ian Rankin, Karine Polwart and many more artists set to appear.
