BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2017 Nominations Announced

Congratulations to all of the nominees for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2017 which were announced last night on The Folk Show. We’re delighted to, once again, see many Proper-distributed artists making the shortlist including Jim Causley, Kris Drever, Megson, O’Hooley & Tidow, Breabach, The Furrow Collective, Martin Green, Songs of Separation and more. This year’s Folk Awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on the 5th April. Now in their 18th year, the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards continue to celebrate a year of outstanding achievement in the world of folk music, with previous award recipients including Joan Baez, Cat Stevens, Billy Bragg, Shirley Collins, Bellowhead, Martin Carthy and Seth Lakeman.
