Latest release by the Ivor Novello award winning songwriter Catherine Howe whose earlier work includes 'Harry' and the vinyl collectors’ rarity 'What A Beautiful Place', released in 1971. 'PRINCELET STREET' is a collection of 13 new songs 'unwaveringly melodic' and with 'scalpel-sharp lyrics', all written by Catherine. The album’s title track is in honour of Princelet Street in Spitalfields, London, which is a recognised area of social fascination and is constantly being written about by internationally known authors such as Iain Sinclair, Monica Ali and Peter Ackroyd. Pat Tynan Media is responsible for publicity and promotion and Catherine will be engaging in radio interviews and TV performances. Live gigs will follow in the spring.
Tracks:
Princelet Street / You Never Know / All I Can Say / Shine Like A Star / You Are / Come Back Soon / Someone’s Been There Before / Say The Word / Brothers (1850) / One Percent / No Matter / C’est La Vie / Yorkshire Hills. |
