2016 MOBO Awards – Nominees Announce

The nominees for the 2016 MOBO Awards were revealed earlier today at a special event at Ronnie Scotts in London. This year the MOBO’s take place in Glasgow on the 4th November at the iconic SSE Hydro as the awards celebrate their 21st birthday. Promising to be one of the MOBO’s biggest celebrations of urban talent yet, the audience will be treated to show-stopping appearances and performances from many of the artists nominated.

Recent Mercury Prize winner and Proper distributed artist Skepta is nominated in 3 categories, Best Male Act, Best Album and Best Grime Act. Other Proper distributed artists nominated include Little Simz (for Best Female act and Best Hip Hop act), Giggs (for Best Album and Best Hip Hop act), Anderson. Paak (for Best International act) and Michael Janisch and Jacob Collier (both nominated for Best Jazz act).
